Anastasia Krajnovic

Anastasia currently works as a joint Junior Specialist in the Bers and Bossuyt labs. She works on a number of cardiac related projects, one of which uses mutagenesis to observe the effects of dimerization on the sodium-potassium pump and subsequent physiological changes. She has expertise in HEK cell culturing, RNA extractions, confocal microscopy, and immunocytochemistry techniques. Anastasia received her bachelor’s at UC Davis studying Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior, specializing in human physiology. She hopes to strengthen this passion as a prospective medical student next year. During her free time, Anastasia enjoys weightlifting, writing poetry, and binging shows on Netflix.
