Catherine (Yaoyuan) Fan

Catherine (Yaoyuan) is a class of 2026 UC Davis undergraduate student majoring in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. She has broad interests, including the mechanism behind heart failure at the molecular level, referential learning, prediction error, and on dopaminergic neurological pathways. She is always curious, and she likes problem-solving. She plans to go to medical school or apply for graduate school after graduating from college. In her free time, she likes doing handcrafts, cooking Chinese food, camping, and walking in nature. She is also an animal and plant lover.
