Daria Smoliarchuk

Daria is a Junior Specialist, currently in her second year of this position. In the lab, Daria performs cardiomyocyte isolations and cardiomyocyte cell culture. Additionally, she assists with and independently conducts biochemistry experiments, such as ELISAs and Western Blots. Daria graduated from UC Davis with a BS in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in 2020. While currently focusing on obtaining work experience and learning new biochemistry techniques, Daria plans to attend graduate school in the future. Her scientific interests include biochemistry, physiology, neurology, and data analytics. In her spare time, Daria enjoys writing, playing basketball and volleyball, and video-gaming.
