Duong (Chris) Hoang

Chris graduated from UC Davis with a B.S. in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior in 2024. Chris previously worked in the Bossuyt Lab at the UC Davis Health Department of Pharmacology, where he investigated the Protein Kinase D interactome in cardiomyocytes. His research experience includes site-directed mutagenesis, DNA isolation, proximity labeling, and animal husbandry, and he is especially interested in cardiac electrophysiology. Chris is excited to learn more about cardiovascular research and sharpen his clinical skills with the Bers Lab. He hopes to pursue a career in medicine in the future. Outside the lab, Chris enjoys riding motorcycles and Olympic weightlifting.
