Erin Shen

Erin is a research assistant at Bers lab. After graduating from UC Davis with a B.S. in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior in 2019, she worked in Bers lab as a Junior Specialist and specialized in the isolation of cardiac myocytes. Erin is now focusing on being a student at UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine and continues her contributions to Bers lab. She is currently working to further characterize a model for heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF). Erin loves animals, especially her dog Raider.
