Esther Asamudo
Postdoctoral Fellow
Esther obtained her BSc in Human Physiology from the University of Uyo and her MSc in Medical Physiology from the University of East London. She completed her PhD at the University of Otago, where she studied cardiac arrhythmias and the regulation of cardiac function by nitric oxide and CaMKII. Her current research is focused on the role of post translational modifications of CaMKII in heart disease. Esther’s expertise includes echocardiography, electrocardiography, Langendorff Isolated heart perfusion, electrochemical analysis, and molecular biology. She enjoys photography, travelling and event planning.
