Jailene Rodriguez

Jailene is a class of 2028 Cell Biology Major at UC Davis. In the lab, she enjoys investigating heart disease at the cellular level. She plans to pursue her Honors Thesis in the lab and ultimately get a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology. In the future, she hopes to become a professor and principal investigator of a cell biology lab studying disease. Jailene is a part of the UC LEADS program and a CAMP Research Scholar. Outside the lab, she enjoys spending time with her cat, relaxing at the beach, and going to concerts.
