Kenneth Ginsburg

Professional Researcher

Ken is a professional researcher doing cellular electrophysiology and fluorescence studies of ion channels, transporters, and Ca/Na regulation. He joined the lab in 1994. In his hometown in Ohio, many people worked hard at building huge unsafe cars and being reactionaries. Life for Ken began at University of Chicago, where he met and learned from reasoned and optimistic people. His graduate studies in bioengineering, at University of Illinois Chicago, concerned sensory physiology and biohazards of non-ionizing radiation. Ken benefits every day from a supportive caring family. He loves eating, but almost maintains weight balance by bicycling and hiking avidly.
