Paweorn (Eve) Angsutararux

Postdoctoral Fellow

Eve is a Postdoc in the Bers Lab with a background in cardiac electrophysiology. She is interested in calcium signaling and regulatory mechanisms of ion channels in cardiac cells, particularly how the Ca2+-binding protein, Calmodulin (CaM), modulates different populations of various proteins. Her current project uses FRET imaging techniques to study the dynamics of CaM interactions with the voltage-gated calcium channel (CaV1.2). In the future, Eve wants to explore the disease mechanisms of heart failure.
