Tory Edwards
Graduate Student
Tory is a PhD student in the Molecular, Cellular and Integrative Physiology program. She is currently researching a SGLT2 inhibitor, a diabetes drug that also has shown improved cardiovascular outcomes in HFpEF, to better understand its mechanism of action in cardiomyocytes. She received her BS in Clinical Nutrition at UC Davis and a Dual MS in Exercise Physiology and Nutrition Science. Tory likes dogs, plants, and the outdoors.
